Meet Pamela

Hi, I’m Pamela Barnum.

I spent the first twenty-years of my professional life working in the criminal justice system. First, as an undercover police officer in the drug unit, and then as a federal prosecuting attorney. Working undercover buying drugs and hanging out with criminals was a great training ground to learn about trust; how to build and maintain it in challenging situations. I fine-tuned my trust-building skills as a lawyer.

I loved being an undercover police officer but I recognized that buying cocaine was not a mom-friendly kind of job. I’ve always been interested in law, but practicing was not a calling.
